I remembered the summer of 2006 when the first movie came out and that phrase by Miranda ("Florals for spring? Groundbreaking!") stuck with me, I also remember reading the book on the bus on my way to work and by the way was the summer before I picked up my knitting needles again after a long hiatus...was this really 20 years ago? Time sure flies.
