Snack Mousefits, Popcorn, Cupcake & Ice Cream

This pattern is for the mouse and its 3 snack costumes – some popcorn, a cupcake & an ice cream! The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication. **You will need:** Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used King Cole Cherished DK (equivalent to weight 3 / light worsted weight) and my finished mouse measures approximately 10cm tall. Please ensure that you use the same weight yarn throughout your project. **For the mouse (pages 4 - 8), you will need the following colours:** * Main mouse colour - I used pale grey or cream (approx. 23.5m per mouse). * Nose / ears / feet / tail colour - I used pale pink (approx. 13m per mouse). **For the 3 outfits (popcorn = pages 9-13, cupcake = pages 14-17, ice cream = pages 18-20), you will need the following colours:** * Red - for the popcorn bag and cherry (approx. 19.5m). * White - for popcorn bag (approx. 13.5m). * Cream - for the popcorn t-shirt, popcorn pieces & ice cream (approx. 38.5m). * Light brown - for the cupcake base & ice cream cone (approx. 35.5m). * Baby Pink - for the cupcake icing (approx. 20.5m). * Dark Brown - for the chocolate on the ice cream (approx. 1.5m). Please Note - The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice. **You will also need:** * A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook. * A pair of 6mm black safety eyes per mouse. * Some toy stuffing. * Small amounts of black finer yarn or thread for adding the details to the mouse’s face (this step is optional). * Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and some stitch markers. **You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself.
