Using DK and 4 Ply weight yarns and repeating steps, this pattern works up beautifully and surprisingly quickly in any colour! This pattern is entirely made to measure, meaning that a measuring tape and trying on your work as you go is essential. **MATERIALS NEEDED:** Yarn - (Information on substitutions is given in the pattern.) Corset Belt: 70g DK yarn, or LIKELY MORE or LESS more depending on your unique size. I used Utopia Crafts Perfect DK in colour Woodland Green (approx. 210m/230yds) for the piece depicted in this pattern. Skirt Lace: 400g 4 Ply yarn, or LIKELY MORE or LESS more depending on your unique size and the desired fullness of your skirt. I used King Cole Simply Footsie 4 Ply in colour Olive (approx. 1720m/1880yds) for the piece depicted in this pattern. Required hooks - 5, 4 and 3.5mm. Notions - Yarn needle, scissors and a flexible measuring tape. Locking stitch markers may be helpful, but are not required. Recommended: tools for blocking. Optional: 2-3metres of 10mm wide doubled sided satin ribbon for lacing. DK yarn can be substituted and how to use this instead is explained in the pattern.
