Donut with a Twist - AKA Buttocktagon

This pattern is for the Donut with a Twist, AKA Buttocktagon, sculpture/ fidget toy. It produces a fun intriguing mathematical shape with a completely different silhouette depending on the angle. It's a mesmerizing shape all on its own, but it can be made even more interesting with combining yarns into gradients or color blocks. The pattern includes charts and explanations for both the closed version (doesn't have a hole) and the open version (had a hole in the middle). The pattern also includes photos and links to the back and front post stitches used in the work. The finished objects are around 8 cm or 3.14 inches in size. The yarn thickness is light worsted to worsted, or chunky mohair. You would need around a whole skein.
