Lace Illusion Pullover is a top-down sweater featuring a stranded colorwork design that creates the illusion of a delicate lace top layered over a solid-color long-sleeve garment. The contrast between the colors highlights the lace-like motif while maintaining the warmth and structure of a classic pullover. Worked seamlessly from the top down, enjoyable, rhythmic knit. Materials Any kind of fingering weight yarn, 400m/100g, 440yds/3.5oz, merino or merino blend, 2 colors – Main Color (MC) – maroon on sample, Contrast Color (CC) – light on sample This pattern is made of Raggz Fiberart Marooned 41425 colorway as MC and Kathy’s Obsession 12025 colorway as CC. Both are Punta high twist sock yarn, 80% SW merino, 20% nylon, 100g/400m, 3.5oz/437yds Sample is a size 4. Block your swatch the same way you plan to block your pullover and let it fully dry before measuring the gauge.
