The Squares Mosaic Raglan

The Squares Raglan is a versatile 2-in-1 digital download crochet pattern designed to be worn as either a lightweight sweater with loose bell sleeves or a relaxed t-shirt. Constructed using a raglan-style yoke, this made-to-measure design allows you to customise the fit as you go. Using mosaic crochet techniques, this pattern creates striking geometric designs by working stitches over previous rows to hide contrasting colours. Worked in lightweight yarn, the fabric has beautiful drape, making it comfortable for all-season wear. The simple square-based construction creates subtle texture and visual interest while remaining easy to adapt. Pattern features a large square neckline not suitable for child's sizing. You’ll need familiarity with mosaic crochet, basic stitch knowledge, how to change colours, and joining techniques. This pattern does not teach you how to mosaic crochet, it assumes prior knowledge. MATERIALS Yarn: 4 ply cotton. Weight 2 yarn for US crocheters. I used Bendigo Woolen Mills Classic Cotton 4 ply yarn which comes in 200g balls. Yardage: Varies by size. I used ~1.6 balls of each colour (approx. 650g total / 2,176m) for a size 2XL cropped sweater. I used ~ 1 ball of each colour (approx. 400g total / 1,340m) for a size 2XL cropped t-shirt.
