**About the pattern**
Using a gently waving stitch, this pattern can work in 2 or more colours. Use any colourful DK weight yarn. This pattern is free on my website, with downloadable PDF also available for sale.
Beenoskee a mountain in Ireland, its name translates as 'peak above the wind'. This warm, wooly cowl is perfect for any adventures outside, going beyond the wind or rain. Find solace for your heart by getting out into green or blue spaces, and bundle up against the cold.

**Sizes**
Cowl size 1, 2, 3.
The 3 sizes will fit size 1, child, size 2, women, size 3, men, if worn with the amount of ease shown in the photo.
Size one, small, 50 cm / 20 inch circumference,
Size two, medium, 56 cm / 22 inch circumference,
Size three, large, 62 cm / 24 inch circumference.
**Materials**
Dk weight yarn
Sample shown:
West Yorkshire Spinners Colourlab DK. 100% wool. 100g ball, 225 meters (226 yrd)
1 ball Harbour Blue
1 ball Summer Pinks
**Tension/Gauge**
3 pattern repeats (18 stitches) = 10 cm / 4 inches
Row height: 8 pattern repeats (16 rows) = 10 cm / 4 inches
**Skill level**
This is an intermediate level pattern. The stitch pattern requires some concentration. No shaping is involved, the cowl is worked in the round, as a tube. It is a quick 1-2 day make for an experienced crocheter.

This pattern is written in English, with both U.K. and US versions available.

The PDF file comes in 2 formats, choose between ‘standard’, ‘large print’’.
All versions of this pattern are in black text, using Verdana - a clear, sans serif font.
They use an easy to read layout which includes bold for all emphasis, and avoid italics or block capitals.
Text is left justified throughout, and no columns are used.
All instructions are fully written out. Some illustrative pictures are included, but all required information is in the text.
The standard version of this pattern is presented in 15 point font.
The Large Print version is in 22 point font, with additional descriptive text describing images.
