Hook: US D-3 / 3 mm. **GAUGE** 18 sts x 7.5 rows to 4" / 10 cm on US D-3 / 3 mm hook in dc, after blocking. **NOTES** The shawl is worked like a pixel grid, in what is known as “filet crochet”. Filet crochet is made up of filled (solid) squares of double crochet stitches and open (empty) squares made up of several chain spaces, gradually forming a pattern.
