It is 100% human made. The pattern uses American Crochet Terms. It is written in English. The finished crochet stuffed animal is about 9 inches when fully made with 4ply medium cotton yarn. If you'd like to make it using a blanket or chenille type yarn, it will be about 16 to 18 inches tall. The pattern, as made by the artist is done in "Lily Sugar'n Cream" cotton yarn with a 3.5mm inline hook. This pattern is an intermediate level. You'll need to be comfortable with single crochet, increasing and decreasing, as well as joining one piece together with chaining and single crochet. All while working in the round.
