Sand & Seashells Cardigan

Dreaming of the summer sun? The Sand & Seashells Cardigan is light and airy, perfect as a cover up on a summer day. It goes great with any outfit and is so easy to customize to your own style! You can make this cutie cropped or long, keep the sleeves short, and even add pockets! I love versatile patterns, something you can make to fit exactly what you are looking for in your wardrobe. With this cardigan being made in vertical panels (which work up super quickly!) i’ve included more description about the measurements you’ll need than in my other patterns. I want to help those who haven’t constructed a pattern this way before learn something new! MADE TO MEASURE: The Sand & Seashells Cardigan is a made-to-measure crochet pattern. Please note there are not specific stitch counts included, you will take some measurements to determine your stitch count. All of the directions are included in the pattern and short video tutorial! Easily customize the length, width, and sleeve length for YOUR perfect cardigan! You’ll be able to make it in ANY size, including kids sizes! CONFIDENT BEGINNER FRIENDLY: You will need to know the basics of crochet as this pattern does not teach you specific stitches directly. There is also VIDEO TUTORIAL that covers the stitch pattern and ribbing stitches which should be helpful if you haven’t seen some of the stitches before! Stitches you’ll need to work include: Chain stitches, SC, DC, Spike DC, Front Post DC, Back Post DC, and working stitches together (SC2TOG, HDC2TOG). STEP-BY-STEP PHOTOS INCLUDED: Each section includes step by step instructions and photos to help you through. I also include hints throughout and notes to guide you. Stitch Diagrams for both right- and left-handed crocheters are included as well! CONSTRUCTION: The Sand & Seashells Cardigan is made with two vertical panels which are seamed along the center back. Sleeves are added flat and then you will seam along the sleeve and body and finish up with the ribbing. Pockets written into the pattern as well as alternate directions if you do not want them.
