**Construction Notes** The cardigan is worked from the top down using raglan construction. You begin by knitting the collar in half fisherman’s rib and continue straight into raglan shaping. Increases are made along each raglan line to shape the body and sleeves. Once the yoke is complete, sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked flat to the hem and finished with twisted rib. Each sleeve is then worked in the round and tapered to a twisted rib cuff. Stitches are picked up along the front edges to create the twisted rib button band. The result is a clean, seamless cardigan with a soft, textured fabric and classic fit. **Size Guide and Finished Measurements** There are 10 sizes available written in XXS (XS, S, M, L, XL) (XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL), with a finished circumference of 35.25 (38.5, 41.5, 44.75, 48, 51.25) (54.5, 57.5, 60.75, 64) in/ 88 (96.5, 104, 112, 120, 128) (136.5, 144, 152, 160) cm. The sweater is meant to have about 2-8 in/5-20 cm of positive ease. Sample shown is a size M on a 37 in/92.5 cm bust for 7.75 in/19.5 cm of positive ease. **Yarn** Approximately 765 (820, 880, 977, 1025, 1115) (1200, 1295, 1375, 1475) yds/ 700 (750, 805, 893, 937, 1020) (1097, 1185, 1258, 1349) m or 6 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8) (9, 9, 10, 10) skeins of Mayflower Molly Fine (148 yds/135 m per 3.5 oz/100 g skein; 100% Wool) or any other yarn that meets gauge. Color shown is 11 Nature. **Needles** Size 7mm circular knitting needles in the following lengths: 32 in/80 cm or 40 in/100 cm for collar, yoke and body 16 in/40 cm or DPNs for sleeves Or knitting needles required to obtain correct gauge. **Notions** 5, 1.25 in/3.2 cm buttons tape measure 8 stitch markers 5 removable stitch markers tapestry needle waste yarn scissors **Gauge** 10 STS + 12 rows/rounds = 4 in/10 cm on main body needle in half fisherman’s rib stitch blocked. Please note that stitch gauge is measured by counting the visible knit and purl stitch columns across 4 in/10 cm, and row gauge is measured by counting the visible rows (each formed by two knitted rows) over 4 in/10 cm. If your gauge differs when working flat vs. in the round, adjust needle size as needed to match the pattern gauge.
