Patchwork Motifs

IMPORTANT: This pattern is CHARTS ONLY Patchwork Motifs Patchwork Motifs is a flexible overlay mosaic crochet chart-only pattern that allows you to design your own unique blanket layout. You can mix and match motifs in any order. There are 70 individual motif charts; many with 'jazzy-style' designs, some picture icons and the alphabet is included so you can add personalised touches by writing initials, names and/or messages. How It Works After each main pattern, you’ll find printable mini motif cut-outs. Simply print the motifs you like (no need to print the entire pattern), cut them out, and experiment with different layouts before you begin crocheting. This way you can visualise your pattern first before you pick up your hook. This is a fun craft activity you can do with children. Scissors and glue optional, only imagination required! You can design something symmetrical and structured, or completely random — the choice is yours. There is also the option of using a dividing pattern between rows of motifs and the dividing pattern can also be used decoratively as a border pattern. The border chart is included. There is full video support included in the pattern for all aspects of Mosaic Crochet including how to add a new color in the same row.
