Indie Vest

The Indie Vest is a simple vest worked bottom up, in the round, in stockinette stitch. It has a relaxed and handcrafted look that aims to highlight the originality, authenticity, and individuality of anyone who wears it, as it can be combined with various other clothing items to suit individual tastes. The vest is knitted with a single yarn. Initially, the stitches are cast on onto circular needles and knitted in rib stitch (2x2) to create the hem. Then, knit in stockinette stitch until reaching the armholes, where divide the work into front and back pieces. From here, the vest is knitted back and forth separately (front and back). The straps are joined when these pieces are complete. Finally, the armhole edges and neckline are finished in ribbing. BUST: (99) 105 (113) 120 (128) 135 cm The vest is designed with 20 to 25 cm of positive ease. If you prefer it fitted or looser is up to you, just size down or up to adjust to your preference. The vest in the photo is size M, worn by a person 166 cm tall with a 22 cm positive ease.
