Simple Sample Blanket

This is a fun, easy knit - featuring 3 stitch patterns: garter stitch, half linen stitch, and a dot stitch. As knit, the size before washing was 26" by 32", After washing and machine drying, the length decreased to 29". However, if a larger size is wanted, it is easy to modify. To modify the width, add to the cast on in increments of 4 stitches (4, 8, 12, etc). To add to the length increase the number of rows in any section as desired. To maintain the symmetry, if you are adding rows to other than the dot stitch section, remember to add the same number of rows on the corresponding section on the other end. As knit, I used all of 2 skeins of color A and 2 1/2 skeins of color B. If you modify the pattern to a larger size, you will need additional yarn.
