North Star Tuque

A knitted beanie with option for depth of cuff, in three colors: light blue, dark blue and white. The design honors the courageous and loving people of Minnesota and the “North Star” symbolizes that courage as a moral compass. It’s a quick knit with just a little easy stranded colorwork. Three size options given. All stitch counts are multiples of 8 to give an eight-point star at the top. I used worsted wool remnants from my stash and my prototype is a size Small. The cuff can be knitted to any depth and rubbing can be modified to K2P2 if desired. Needle size and gauge guidelines are only suggestions; use what works for you! As I’m a beginning designer, there may be errors. I welcome comments and suggestions that would improve this pattern’s ease of use.
