I needed a hat for a gentleman with graying hair and beard and wanted a warm, versatile, unique hat for both work and play. This hat can be worn on either side. I prefer the purl side so I placed the label there. It can still be worn on the other side. Knit from the bottom up, there's ribbing at both the start and finish. There is a rectangle for placement of label, decal, needlework, etc.
