Melt the ICE dog hat

This is a crochet version of the MTI hat for small dogs (dachshund) and done in the stitches used for the original crochet version. Any chunky/ worsted weight yarn will work. I used Robin Chunky 100% acrylic to be able to wash it. Dies ist die Häkel Version der MTI Mütze für kleine Hunde (Dackel) und ausgeführt in den originalen Häkelstichen. Cut 6 strands of yarn about 50 cm long, fold in half and braid. Fasten off at desired length and attach to the top. Straps: use 3 mm hook Ch 7 Row 1 to 5: sc 6, ch 1 Row 6: decrease, sc 2, decrease, ch 1, turn Row 7: decrease, sc 1, decrease, ch 1, turn and repeat until you have the desired length. Attach to folded trim either by sewing or with slip stitch.
