The Ophelia Pullover is a timeless, versatile sweater designed for everyday wear in every season. A defining feature of the Ophelia Pullover is its textured cable pattern, which combines elegant diamond motifs with other rhythmic cables that flow beautifully across the fabric. Subtle bobbles add depth and interest to the design, but can easily be omitted for a more minimalistic look. The sides of the sweater are worked in reverse Stockinette stitch, creating clean lines and a soft contrast that helps the cables stand out even more clearly. The pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. It begins at the back neck, which is increased to the full width of the upper back before stitches are picked up for the shoulders and worked as the front. The yoke is shaped in the round, first by increasing stitches for the sleeves and later for both sleeves and body, resulting in a comfortable and well-balanced fit. At the underarms, the sleeves and body are separated and finished individually in the round.
