Ziggy Scarf

This garter stitch scarf features chevron lace. It can be knit in any size with any type of yarn. Relaxing, but still interesting for experienced knitters, this pattern is also suitable for advanced beginners. My version was knit with two contrasting colors of OOAK Madeline Tosh Light, 65 stitches wide, using about 300m of each color on 3.5mm (Size 4) needles. Knit in 2 colors with changes on the right side, slip stitch edges act as an i-cord, neatly catching and covering the unused color. The chevrons feature an eye-pleasing combination of simple yarn overs with central double decreases (CDD).
