It is first worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, before the yoke is joined and worked in the round. Short rows are worked at the sides before the raglan increases to create a good fit. The rest of the coat is worked in stockinette stitch with a few rows of double knitting. Bind off, a colomn of purl stitches and i-cord are also used.
