Calypso Collar

This pattern was originally published as **Ritual Dyes'** contribution to the 2026 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 5-8, 2026 in Portland, Oregon. This pattern is also available for download as part of the 2026 Pattern Collection: Mythical Creatures. *Add a dash of whimsy to any outfit with the Calypso Collar. The pattern starts from the lower edge with some garter rows followed by a gorgeous lace motif (with optional beads) and I-cord ties to finish the collar neatly. I suggest using a plant based yarn, or a yarn with little to no stretch (avoid superwash and nylon).* **Yarn** Ritual Dyes Undine 60% organic cotton / 40% linen fingering weight; Lambs Ear, 96 yards **Needles** US 2 / 2.75 mm 32”- 40” / 81 cm - 101 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge **Gauge** 24 it's 4" swatch , row gauge less important **Notions** Stitch markers, darning needle. optional cord smith, optional seed beads, optional 9mm crochet hook.
