This Cowichan-style cardigan started from a simple idea: wanting to wear something bright, cheerful, and cute. Bold fruit motifs are placed on both the front and back for maximum impact, with three-dimensional leaf details added for extra texture and playful charm. As a colorwork sweater, the overall look can change a lot depending on your color choices—making it easy to create a version that feels truly your own. **This pattern includes both the Cherry and Lemon versions. Patterns in additional languages will be added in the future. **Size** One size Finished bust circumference: 119 cm This pattern uses bulky yarn, so the finished size can vary greatly depending on your gauge. Please knit a gauge swatch before starting. You may adjust the size by changing your gauge if desired. **Construction** This cardigan is worked top-down, starting from the neckline. The yoke is shaped using raglan increases, beginning with German short rows for a comfortable fit. After the sleeves are separated, the body and sleeves are worked separately and finished with a 2-stitch ribbing. The pattern requires familiarity with: German short rows Horizontal colorwork Vertical colorwork Vertical colorwork is used on the body after sleeve separation, following the chosen fruit design. The leaves are crocheted separately and sewn on at the end.
