Pattern Notes: ​Tension is Key: This bag is designed using macrame cotton cord. To ensure the bag holds its shape and doesn't "sag" when you put your phone or wallet inside, maintain a firm, tight tension throughout. If you are a loose crocheter, consider dropping down to a 3.75mm hook. ​The "No-Stretch" Strap: The strap is worked lengthwise (long ways) rather than in short rows. This is a boutique secret! Working it this way, combined with the final row of slip stitches, creates a "belt-like" stability that prevents the strap from stretching out over time. ​Color Transitions: If using the YarnArt Macrame Cotton Spectrum, do not cut the yarn to change colors. Let the gradient happen naturally to achieve the smooth "Artisan" look. ​Stitch Count: I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of every round, as the macrame cord can sometimes make it difficult to see the seam. ​Customization: The height of the bag can easily be adjusted.
