Emory Sweater

Emory is an easy to knit, top down seamless boxy style pullover sweater with raglan shaping and a mock turtleneck collar. Stylishly designed for a proper fit across the shoulders while giving a super cute oversized fit and flow throughout the body. The tall bottom ribbing and high ribbing collar gives this sweater a polished winter look. It has a comfortable oversized fit with 6" of positive bust ease but an arm ease of 3" giving it the perfect oversize style while still offering a great fit. To begin, you work the neckline in rows then join to work the remaining yoke in the rnd. Raglan increases are worked throughout the yoke to create the classic raglan shaping. Once you get to the sleeve divide, you will place sleeves onto waste yarn and will continue working the body in the round. The sleeves are worked separately in the round. Collar sts are picked up and worked in the rnd. The yoke for each size is written our separately making it easy to follow along for your size! SKILLS REQUIRED Casting on using the Long Tail and Knitted CO methods. Knit and purl stitch. Pick up and knit. Knit 2 sts together. Knit into the front and back of one stitch. Right and Left lifted increases. Weaving in ends. SIZES XS (32), S (34), M (38), L (42), XL (46), 1X (50), 2 X (54) To pick your size, measure your bust then knit the size that is closest to your actual bust measurement, the pattern is designed for a boxy oversized fit and has 6” of positive bust ease built into it so for example, if your bust measures 34“, knit the size 34 and the finished sweater will measure approximately 40”. If you are large busted, measure your upper bust and full bust. If your upper bust is 3+ inches smaller then your full bust, consider knitting one size smaller than your full bust measurement for a better overall fit.
