Flettet Knute / Braided Knot

The headband is worked in the round as a tube, using double-pointed needles or the magic loop technique on a circular needle. The headband features a cable pattern on the front and stockinette stitch on the inside. The headband is worked to the stated length, or to approximately 2 cm less than the measured head circumference. Finally, the headband is sewn together in a way that creates a neat knot/twist at the front. The pattern includes illustrations showing how to sew the headband together, as well as links to videos demonstrating how to knit the cables. This is the perfect project for using up leftover yarn! Keep in mind that all yarns behave differently, so if you use a different yarn, you may need to adjust the length before binding off. :)
