Brioche Twist Scarf

FREE through Saturday night Pacific Time. For those who have tried basic two color brioche, this is a great next step. It uses one type of increase and one type of decrease to give the look of a twisted cable and keep it interesting. Brioche is already a very cozy, squishy fabric. By knitting this scarf with bulky yarn, it will be even more so. Brioche looks good from both sides, perfect for a scarf. If you are new to brioche, you may want to start here: [Mighty Squoosh pattern][1] There are two versions of the Brioche Twist Scarf; one in bulky and one in super bulky. The purple one shown is knit in Bulky yarn and the green and grey one is knit in Super Bulky. Gauge is not critical for this scarf. 14 sts, 13 brioche rows over 4” / 10cm in Bulky. 7 sts, 7 brioche rows over over 4” / 10cm in Super Bulky For a similar length scarf you will need about 190 yards of each color including fringe and about 180 yards of each color for the super bulky version.
