As written and when made with the listed yarn/yarn weight, this works up to a garment that has the following dimensions after washing and blocking: • 46” body circumference • 17” neck hole • 11” armhole depth • 17.5” upper arm circumference • 25.5” sleeve length, neck to wrist, w/o cuff • 10” circumference wrist, before cuff; 8” circumference at termination of wrist cuff • 21” front length, minus collar and waist band • 22.75” back length, minus collar and waist band Materials needed: • 10 – 12 balls Hobbii Highland Wool, 191 yds/ea, or 1,910 - 2,292 yds total (or other DK weight wool that works up on US 3 (3.25mm) needles), • US 3 (3.25mm) needles, 36” circular • US 2 (2.75mm) needles, 36” circular and DPN • Cabling needle (optional) • Markers • Stitch holders or waste yarn • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends and joining yarn This is a raglan sleeve sweater, knit top-down in the round as a single piece in the traditional Aran style. It is designed as an oversized garment, and instructions have been included for how to adjust length and width to fit a variety of bodies. As such, this is a customizable pattern that can yield a garment capable of fitting any body; yes, there would be some math involved, but I promise it's not that much or that bad :slightly_smiling_face: Detailed instructions are included for adjusting any/all of the dimensions listed. Anyone with a decent grasp of cables and one or two sweaters under their belt should be just fine. That being said, this is an advanced cable pattern and is not intended for beginners.
