Seoul City Mittens

Made for a trip to Seoul, these fingerless mittens were designed to fit a larger male hand and to have an elongated wrist so that the cuff of your sweatshirt doesn’t sit directly on top of the ribbing. My personal preference is to have neutral ease in mittens, and these are designed to sit on the hand, rather than strangle it. Great for those wanting to try some simple colour work and reading from a chart. **Actual measurements:** 21cm circumference above the thumb, total length is 20cm. **To fit:** My hand has 22cm circumference above the thumb and my wrist has a circumference of 18cm. **Gauge:** 26 sts x 36 rows per 10x10cm **Yarn:** Any fingering weight yarn. No more than 50g / 200m of the Main Colour and less than 5g / 20m of each contrast colour. **Needles etc**: 2.5mm DPNs or Circular for ribbing (DPNs advised for thumb ribbing) 3mm DPNs/Circular for body 2.5mm Crochet Hook (optional) Stitch Markers **NB: In the pattern, I have misused 'diameter' when I mean't 'circumference'! Circumference of mittens above the thumb is 21cm**
