CONSTRUCTION The cardigan begins by casting on stitches for the back of the neck to begin the button band. The button band is worked back and forth in rows, then stitches are picked up along the edge for the back, sleeves and front. Compound raglan shaping is worked using stitch texture over the yoke, while continuing the button band throughout. Once the sleeves are split off, the body is worked in the same texture. Finally the sleeves are worked to complete the cardigan.
