Naomi balaclava is a modern balaclava worked in a lightweight alpaca and brushed silk blend, creating a soft halo and natural warmth. Designed with a close fit around the face and an elongated neck, it layers comfortably under both jackets and coats and keeps you warm. The pattern is written as a text and is beginner friendly. **DIMENSIONS** One size. Neck circumference 56 cm flat; front opening 54 cm flat; length from crown to bottom edge 45 cm. **GAUGE** 17 stitches x 24 rows in stockinette stitch on 4mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after blocking. If your gauge differs after blocking your swatch, adjust the needle size. **NEEDLES** 3.0 mm and 4.0 mm circular needles (60 cm or 80 cm, both lengths are suitable for both needle sizes) **MATERIALS** 100g Drops Alpaca (50g = 167m) 1 strand held together with 75g Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (25g = 140m) 1 strand or other yarn with similar weight and characteristics.
