Jonas Dinosaur Tote Bag

This is the advanced beginner-level PDF crochet pattern for the Jonas tote bag. It is written in English and in US terminology. The Jonas tote is a fun and practical bag. The pattern includes detailed instructions and pictures for the technique used. The pattern is built around graphs as well as written instructions. It uses mostly half double crochet as well as crab stitch and thermal stitch. The non-working yarn is carried throughout. The pattern also comes with a lookbook of my lovely testers’ versions of the tote bag. For a tote bag with the measurements 36 cm (width) x 38 cm (height) the gauge in half double crochet stitches is 20 stitches x 14 rows (10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4 inches). The materials needed are: ✿ 3 mm crochet hook (or hook to meet the gauge) ✿ Sport weight cotton yarn (weight 2) in two colours Some yarn suggestions: Mandarin Naturell by Sandnes Garn, Hobbii’s Friends Cotton 8/6 Approximate yardage: Background ~ 370m, Dinosaurs ~ 230m, Straps ~ 120m If you would like to make another size than 36 cm x 38 cm, you can of course use another yarn weight!
