Follow my crafting adventures on my [Substack][1]. Did you know that with a pinch of yarn and a dash of love you could make the sweetest of gifts? Adorable little coasters! Start by knitting the fun and easy garter base mosaic design. Only one color is used per row. The fun continues with log cabin-style garter stitch borders in your main color! The pattern includes 4 charted designs: Going Dotty, Tiptoe in the Tulips, Dreidle Dreidle and O Tannenbaum. Here are the basic skills you will need to knit each coaster: long-tail cast on knit slip stitch pick up stitches read a mosaic knitting chart (see video link on following page) Per coaster: approximately 6 g fingering/sock weight yarn for main color and 2 g for contrast color (100 g [3.5 oz] = 400 m [437 yds]) [1]: https://caroknitsinthecity.substack.com/
