The Èveryday Blossom Scarf & Cowl is worked flat in simple knit and purl blocks with a slipped stitch on both edge for a clean finish. Each block section is worked in a single color, changing shades as you go to create a playful sequence of texture. The design is easy to customize. Just keep adding colors for a longer, more dramatic piece. The scarf can be made in two weights: fingering or sport/DK, worked flat and worn as a scarf, while the worsted weight version is designed as a cozy cowl that’s seamed using a provisional cast-on and finished with Kitchener stitch grafting. The pattern is ideal for all Yarns, mini skeins or leftovers, and was designed with Handspun Yarns in mind.
