PATTERN INFORMATION **YARN** MC: 1 (2) 100g skeins OR 1 (6) 25g skeins Susan Crawford Vintage Wold Worsted, 100% British wool (50% Southdown, 25% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% Shetland) 159 metres / 174 yards per 100g skein in Cumulus. CC: 1 (2) 100g skeins OR 1 (5) 25g skeins Susan Crawford Vintage Wold Worsted, 100% British wool (50% Southdown, 25% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% Shetland) 159 metres / 174 yards per 100g skein in Atwood. Amount of yarn used: MC: 30 m / 33 yds (231 m / 264 yds). CC: 25 m / 28 yds (169 m / 185 yds). Good substitutions would include any yarn of a similar weight and blend suitable for colourwork. **NEEDLES** 4.5 mm (US 7) DPNs (for small size) or 60 cm circulars (for large size) or size needed to obtain gauge. **GAUGE** 19 stitches and 22 rounds to 10 cm / 4 in worked in stranded colourwork in the round, after blocking. We obtained this gauge using 4.5 mm needles. If necessary, change needle size to obtain gauge. **NOTIONS** Darning/tapestry needle. Stitch markers.
