Holiday Doodle Stocking

This pattern uses **mix-and-match micro charts** to allow the knitter to design their own holiday stocking. **Modular instructions include flexible options for the upper ribbing, length, and width of the finished stocking.** Inspired by the festive motifs in holiday sweaters, Christmas wrapping, and Starbucks cups, all of the charts are designed to work together to **create something completely unique, within an easy-to-follow structure**. Use these charts alone, or add in any other charts from the expanded Doodle Series! **How It’s Worked:** This pattern is worked in the round, from the top down. It begins with a ribbed cuff, then a section of “doodle” colorwork, then a mock short row heel, before finishing with similar colorwork along the foot, and a traditional sock toe, closed with a Kitchener stitch graft. This pattern is uniquely **designed to use up scrap yarn, leftovers, yarn advents**, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash.
