BAO BAO hat

For pattern support, please find the questions thread [here][1] The BAO BAO hat is a beautiful companion to the [BAO BAO shawl][2]. The hat is worked in rounds from the crown down to the doubled brim and features the beautiful and fun stitch pattern I used for the [HEIMATHAFEN pullover][3]. Using the dip stitch stripe pattern “all over” creates this super cute retro look. The crown of the hat looks exactly like a granny square and could be a starting point for many “spin-offs”. Starting with no more than 8 sts, increases are worked every 2 rounds at 4 points. Color changes are worked every 4 rounds. The cute and easy dip stitch pattern could be worked with many colors for a playful result (and to help stash busting ;) or with 3 colors (as shown) for a more sophisticated and sportive look.
