Hortik is a playful, nature-inspired sweater that makes for an engaging project for knitters interested in stranded colourwork within a wearable, contemporary garment. Hortik means “garden”. The pattern also provides an ideal canvas for experimenting with different colours, including mini skeins and yarn leftovers. Knit top-down in the round, this round-yoke sweater features stranded colourwork on the yoke, body, and half-sleeves. The mock neck is optional and can be worked immediately or added as an afterthought. The body is slightly cropped with a gentle A-line shape, and the hem and cuffs are finished with 2×2 ribbing.
