**Yarn** Light Fingering 750 yards / 680m Volute La Bien Aimée; 50% Cashmere goat, 50% Merino, 250 m / 50 g Sample used: 3 skeins **Needles** A US 5 (3.75 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle – for the body A US 7 (4.5 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle – for cast-on only One short straight or DPN needle in approx. US 5 size – used when joining in the round Or, needles required to obtain gauge **Gauge** (after blocking) 25 sts & 34 rows = 4" / 10 cm in 1x1 Rib using US 5 (3.75mm) needles **Sizes** Finished measurements: Circumference (widest point): 41.75” / 106 cm Height: 19.75” / 50 cm **Tools** Stitch markers (2), tapestry needle **Note** This poncho is worked from the bottom up. The hem is worked flat back and forth, and then joined in the round. Decreases are worked as the piece is shaped up toward the neck.
