Classy Cowl

Classy Cowl, is a beautiful, simple, timeless ribbed knitted cowl that fits effortlessly into any wardrobe, with clean lines, cozy texture and material, and a classy look that pairs perfectly with the Classy Beanie. This is a perfect first project for beginners and a satisfying quick knit for experienced makers. It is worked top-down, starting with a 2x1 ribbing followed by a stockinette stitch body and finished with another 2x1 ribbing to avoid the edge to roll back. However, it is 100% customizable, you can knit the ribbing top down and avoid the stockinette part, change the ribbing pattern, insert colorwork, add height and way more! As it is a free pattern, you get to modify and express your creativity as you knit. Yarn: Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca, 75 m / 50 g) – 1 ball is enough (you may use 2 balls if you want extra height or a fold-over double cowl). Needles: 5 mm circular (40 cm) Gauge: ~16-18 sts - gauge is flexible its a cowl, not a fitted garment) Size: Adult (50-52cm circumference)( 17cm or higher height) Time: Around 4-6 hours or less if you are a fast-knitter!
