**Materials Needed** Yarn: Bulky or Worsted Weight yarn (acrylic or cotton) in white and red. Small amount of black yarn (preferably DK yarn) for the buttons. Hook: 5 mm crochet hook A tapestry needle A pair of scissors **Abbreviations** Ch = Chain sc = single crochet hdc = half double crochet dc = double crochet flo = front loop only sl st = slip stitch st = stitch sts = stitches fo = fasten off **Skill Level** Beginner **Yardage** Approx. = 17 m (18.5 yards) **Size** Gauge Gauge = 6 dc and 3 rows with a 5 mm crochet hook = 5 cm (2.5"). Height by width = (17 cm x 9.5 cm) (6.5 inches x 3.7 inches) **Notes** - You can make the pattern larger or smaller by changing the type of yarn and/or hook size. - Numbers at the end of each row (in brackets) indicate the number of final stitches in that row. - Please note that I use US crochet terms.
