Cole

Cole is a scarf knitted transversely, from one side to the other, in half fisherman’s rib stitch. It is offered in two sizes. The small one, for a bandana look, tied behind the neck, very quick to knit, perfect for using leftover yarn or to give to someone, and which fits over any outfit. And the large one to wear in a scarf style, really comfy. No need to choose, you have to knit both! Sizes: small – large. Needles: 4, 5 mm / US 7 needles. 2 – 5 skeins of Majo garn Fine merino, or any fingering yarn. 2 – 4 skeins of Majo garn Pearl mohair, or any lace yarn. (Another suggestion: 1 strand of Drops alpaca et 1 strand of Drops Kidsilk held together). Approximately for each yarn : 230 – 760 meters / 251 – 831 yards. Gauge: 19 sts and 38 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in half fisherman’s rib stitch worked flat on 4,5 mm needles with both yarns held together. Dimensions: Long side up : 76 – 138 cm / 30 – 54 ¼ inches. Height : 38 – 69 cm / 15 – 27 ¼ inches. Cole est un foulard tricoté transversalement, d’un côté à l’autre, en côtes perlées. Il est proposé en deux tailles. La petite, pour un rendu bandana, noué derrière le cou, très rapide à tricoter, parfaite pour utiliser ses restes de laines ou à offrir, et qui se glisse sur n’importe quelle tenue. Et la grande à porter en esprit chèche, un peu plus enveloppante. Pas besoin de choisir, on tricote les deux ! Tailles : petite (version chocolat) – grande (version rouge). Aiguilles n°4,5. 2 – 5 pelotes de Fine merino Majo garn (ou n’importe quel fil d’épaisseur fingering). 2 – 4 pelotes de Pearl mohair Majo garn (ou n’importe quel fil d’épaisseur lace). (Alternative possible en tricotant ensemble 1 fil d’alpaca et 1 fil de Kidsilk Drops). Équivalent métrage pour chacun des deux fils qui seront tricotés ensemble: 230 – 760 mètres. Échantillon : réalisé en côtes perlées en aller-retour avec les aiguilles n°4,5 et les deux fils tenus ensemble : 19 mailles x 38 rangs pour un carré de 10 cm de côté. Dimensions : Grand côté en haut : 76 – 138 cm. Hauteur totale : 38 – 69 cm.
