Aegean Ripple Mosaic Blanket

Aegean Ripple is my first centre out overlay mosaic crochet design. Inspired by the timeless elegance of Greek keys and the gentle movement of the Aegean sea. Building on the style and clarity of my popular Kalimera row by row patterns, this design combines geometric tradition with modern flow. The pattern is 131 rounds and finished size will be determined by the thickness of the yarn you use. Fortunately the pattern is divided into sections and you can stop after any section, once the blanket is your desired size. I used 2 different thicknesses of DK yarn: With thin DK (3.5mm hook) – Full Pattern – 135cm MC – 6 x 100g Elle Classic Wool in Porcelain (300m / 100g) CC – 5 x 100g Elle Alula in Blue Crane (300m / 100g) With thick DK (4mm hook) – Full Pattern – 150cm MC – 9 x 100g Elle Charity DK in White (233m / 100g) CC – 7 x 100g Elle Charity DK in various shades (233m / 100g) There are charts and written patterns as well as some video support to get started.
