Christmas Time Blanket

Make your own beautiful blanket with this Christmas Time mosaic crochet pattern. It's perfect for the Christmas season! You can easily customize the pattern by changing the order of parts, leaving out or repeating parts and playing around with colours. The technique used is overlay mosaic crochet. The pattern includes both charts and written instructions. (Pattern labelled Charts full) Please make sure to use the correct file for your needs and to read the general instructions before starting. ********** The pattern is written in US terms Size: The final size of the blanket depends on the number of repeats, the yarn and hook size and your tension. If you want your blanket to be longer or shorter you can repeat parts or leave some out. For me the blanket (with hook size 4.5 mm, 6 repeats and a border) is about 107 x 150 cm (42 x 60 inches). Yarn usage: You can use any yarn and colour that you like (make sure to use contrasting colours so the pattern will be clearly visible). The amount of yarn you need depends on the size of your blanket, the yarn and hook size, your tension and the number of colours you use I used Stylecraft Special DK (100 g = 295 m) Colour A: Cream (1005) - Main part: ca. 470 g. = 1400 m (1530 yards), - Border: ca. 90 g. = 265 m (290 yards) Colour B: in total I used about 460 g. = 1355 m (1480 yards) +border - Camel (1420): ca. 80 g. = ca. 235 m (257 yards), border: ca. 100 g. = 295 m (322 yards) - Gingerbread (1806): ca. 100 g. = ca. 295 m (322 yards) - Mocha (1064): ca. 100 g. = ca. 295 m (322 yards) - Purple smoke (2181): ca. 80 g. = ca. 235 m (257 yards) - Claret (1123): ca. 100 g. = ca. 295 m (322 yards) If you have any questions about the pattern don't hesitate to contact me.
