Thank you! Comfortable, light, and hearty. The Finch Sweater is a comfortable, knit-flat Half-Fisherman’s Rib sweater. But don’t be afraid of the knitting flat; Half-Fisherman’s Rib is a moreish texture with minimal purling when knit flat. Additionally, because most of the seams are picked-up and stitched, you end up only stitching two large seams. The back panel is worked top-down, then the shoulders are picked up and worked down to create the front panel. Then, the neckline is worked. The sleeves are picked up and knit down, as well. Then, the two side seams are stitched, and voila! Minimal thinking, maximum squish.
