Shoreline

Shoreline is a pattern for a sweet and cozy cowl long enough to be wrapped twice around your neck. It’s a fun mix of striping and thorn stitch. The cowl is worked seamlessly in the round. It starts with a provisional cast-on. Then you knit a long tube and finish it by grafting the live stitches together with the cast-on. **Size** One size, wraps around the neck twice. **Finished measurements** *Height:* 7.75’’ / 19 cm *Length:* 50’’ / 128 cm **Yarn** West Wool Bicycle (100% merino, 175 m / 50 g), or other fingering weight yarn. Shown in colourways Sand (C1) and Sea Mist (C2). 2 skeins of each colour. **Yardage** C1: 360 yds / 330 m, C2: 360 yds / 330 m. **Needles** US 4 (3.5 mm) - 36’’ / 100 cm long circular needle for magic loop or dpns. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge. **Gauge** 23 sts × 31 rnds = 4×4’’ / 10×10 cm in stockinette stitch worked in the round (after blocking). **Other** Stitch marker, waste yarn, E (3.5 mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle.
