Sea Mist

Sea Mist is a pattern for cute and warm mittens. The mittens feature a neat tubular cast-on, long cuffs for warm wearing, Indian thumb gusset and a fun stitch pattern called Thorn stitch. Thorn stitch is worked as stripes but a combination of decreases, increases and slipped stitches will make it look like something completely different. Please note the Child size mittens are worked on a smaller needle to make them more windproof for playing outside. **Size** Child (Adult) **Yarn** West Wool Tandem (100% merino, 232 m / 100 g), or other DK weight yarn. Shown in colourways Sea Mist (MC) and Sand (CC). 1 ball of each colour. **Yardage** MC: 65 (110) yds / 60 (100) m, CC: 45 (75) yds / 40 (70) m. **Needles** US 4 (3.5 mm), US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 6 (4.0 mm) - 36’’ / 100 cm long circular needles for magic loop or dpns.
