Rory Gilmore Sweater

This is a self drafted recipe based on the oversized cable knit sweater Rory wears in the pilot episode of Gilmore Girls. It is knitted flat, bottom-up, and seamed at the end using mattress stitch. The collar is worked in the round. (This is my first time writing a recipe and it is a little loose so feel free to reach out if more info is needed!) Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows in moss stitch = 4 in / 10 cm Materials: 17 skeins Drops Nepal in shade Off White (50 g = 75m / 82 yd) (850g total = 1275m / 1394 yd) or any similar yarn. US 7 (4.5mm) knitting needles US 9 (5.5mm) knitting needles cable needle Finished Measurements: Bust: 48” Length: 25.5” measured from center back, not including collar Sleeve Length: 20.5” including ribbing 14" positive ease shown in photos The easiest way to make this sweater larger or smaller is to add or subtract moss stitches from the ends of each panel.
