Knitting pattern for tie front MoonVeil Cardigan. the body is knit flat, the sleeves are made in the round (easy to adjust for flat knitting as well), slightly over-sized fit, adjustable body and sleeve length. Can be done with ties or without. Level: advanced beginner, intermediate Language: English The finished garment comes in 6 sizes for inclusive sizing. Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL FINISHED MEASUREMENTS approximate Size Bust, Length XS 96cm (38”) 62cm (25”) S 104cm (41”) 65cm (25.5”) M 108cm (42.5”) 67cm (26”) L 114cm (45”) 70cm (27.5”) XL 118.5cm (46.5”) 73cm (28.5") XXL 124cm (49”) 74cm (29”) Suggested yarn: Drops Air 65% Alpaca, 28% Polyamide, 7% Wool 50g – 150m (164yds) 6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9 skeins. • • A pair of 3.0mm (US 2.5, UK 11) 80-100 cm/ 32-40” circular needles for an I-cord at the body top and bottom. You may also need DPNs for sleeve cuffs if you are not using the Magic Loop technique. • A pair of 4.5mm (US 7, UK 7) 80-100 cm/ 32-40” circular needles for the main body. You may also need 40cm (16”) circular needles or DPNs for sleeves and the upper yoke section if you are not using the Magic Loop technique. • Tapestry needle. • Some waste yarn. • Measuring tape. • Some openable markers. • Scissors. GAUGE (TENSION) approximate: 18 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. The swatch is made with 4.5 mm (US 7, UK 7) knitting needles.
