Flying Goose Socks

Inspired by a beautiful vintage crewel embroidery of flying Canada geese belonging to Beatriz of Fibre & Forge farm, the Flying Goose Socks feature a stitch pattern made up of cables, slip stitches, and wrapped stitches that look like a skein of flying geese (yes, the word for a group of flying geese is a “skein”, just like the word for a coil of yarn – how fitting!). These cozy DK-weight socks are knit cuff-down, with a forethought heel and a wedge toe, including instructions for optional contrasting-coloured cuffs, heels, and toes. **SIZES** Extra-Small (Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large)/XS (S, M, L, XL) to fit actual foot circumference 6 (7, 8, 9, 10)”/15.2 (17.8, 20.3, 22.9, 25.4) cm, measured around the ball of the foot (the widest part). Negative ease is built in to the pattern. The length and height are adjustable.
