I am very delighted to announce our new collaboration with Mominoki Yarn. This vest named FIVE, worked in their German Merino Light, is characterized by a check pattern and a big high collar. The association of the Slip stitch rib and Ladder stitch creates a pleasant rhythm and a 3-dimensional relief that the German Merino Light can render well. Slip stitch rib, with its highly defined vertical columns, creates a more textured and impressive fabric than ordinary rib stitches. Sturdy and beautiful, it is perfect for a high collar and provides a solid baseline for the high collar to stand up. Moreover, it’s easy to work! It’s one of my favorite rib stitches. Ladder stitch is a ladder-like pattern characterized by yarn running vertically. The front is worked in a check pattern associating this ladder stitch with 3-color horizontal stripes. The back is in contrast deliberately worked in a single color, for a textured and chic feel. A particular attention was paid to its plush high collar and the sides’ button closure you can keep closed or unbuttoned. The vest is reversible and you can flip the front and back. Please style it freely according to your mood and outfits.
